Sharifah Sofia Syed Hussein is a Malaysian actress born in Liverpool, England in 28th July 1986. Her mother is Scotish and her father is a Malay from Arab's family. She had a supporting role in horror movie 'Gong' together with Fasha Sandha and Jehan Miskin. In the movie she plays university student 'bad girl' Tris who steals a 500 years brass gong from the Yogyakarta Art Museum. Sharifah Sofia overplayed her 'bad girl' part. However for her role in 'Gong', she was nominated for the 'Best Female Supporting Actress' category during the 19th Malaysia Film Festival (August 2006). For this movie, Sharifah Sofea stay in Yogyakarta, Indonesia for one month.
