Remember Shereen? She is Noor Shereen Mohd Hadzim, a singer-cum-actress. On 15th March 2005, she and her boyfriend Mohd Nizam Halami and two of their friends were charged with three counts of consuming methamphetamine and possession of 0.78 gramms of methamphetamine and 0.66 grammes of cannabis (ganja) at Subang Villa Ehsan Apartments, Taman Sri Subang. They were caught at 2AM. She claimed trial. Her case was postponed to November 2007. Now she is free on bail of RM5000 and one surety.

If found guilty, they can be sentenced under Section 15(1)(a) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952 (Akta Dadah Berbahaya) which carries a jail sentence not exceeding two years or a fine not exceeding RM5000.00.

Shereen was born in 1972. Shereen has appeared in several dramas and is particularly noted for her role in “Cucu Mami" during the 1990s. She also starred in the local blockbuster "Anak Mami" and movie 'Putera' and 'Cinta Rosevilla'.
