Zaiton Sameon was one of Malay's famous singer mostly because of her sexy outfit. She started to make a name of herself in 1987 when her song Menaruh Harapan, compossed by A.Ali reached the final of the TV3's Juara Lagu. Unfortunately, on 21st February 1990, she met an accident in Batang Kali, Selangor. The tragic accident claimed her son, 13 years old Azirwan, and some of her own senses. She was unconscious for months. She went back to singing after being herself again. However, she was not like the real Zaiton Sameon. She is still sick. People around her should stop her from singing again. They should let her rest and stay away from entertainment world.

17 years after her accident, she was given a pension for life of RM500 per month by Karyawan (Persatuan Karyawan Malaysia) starting July 2007. She will celebrates her 51st birthday this 7th July. Karyawan will organize a 'Majlis Bersama Artis' on her birthday. Among those who will join the program are Mawi World, M.Daud Kilau, Mila the AF Champ, Syawal AF, veteran singer Rohana Jalil and Andre Goh.
